Over the past month I have had the pleasure of working on creating asset tool kits as a part of the STRATEGIES project managed by Paul Wake and Chloe Wake at Manchester Metropolitan University.
These assets are intended to be used by players to create their own digital board games, with a focus on games that respond to the climate crisis. The asset list for the project was divided between Kimmy Hoang, Victoria Reyner, who were both a pleasure to work with, and myself. For readability, I focused on creating simple shapes for each asset and ensured that they had a range of colour options for playability.
It has been a huge delight working on these assets and contributing to the STRATEGIES project which aims to support Europe's gaming industry and its sustainable innovations and I can't wait to see where this goes and what games people create with my assets!
